Antique wax doll made ca. 1860-1880. This doll is 15 inches (38 cm) tall. Her head with shoulder plate is made of composition and is covered with hard wax. The wax is in good condition with small rub marks on her nose. Bright blue glass sleep eyes. Mohair wig. Original cloth stuffed body in good condition, her arms and legs with molded shoes are made of composition and also covered with wax. The doll wears antique original clothing, which is sewn on the body. A headgear with tiny bells.
