The head of this antique doll was made in Germany by Simon & Halbig for Jumeau. This 15.7" (40 cm) doll was made ca. 1894-1898 in France. Her head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. She is marked "DEP 4".
She has glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. She had real lashes but they disintegrated. She has pierced ears with earrings, open mouth with 4 teeth, an old human hair wig with big curls.
French composition and wood body in good condition. One of her fingers has been repaired.
She wears antique clothing, an antique light pink silk dress with embroidery, a hat, cotton underclothes. Vintage leather shoes.
