Antique bisque head doll made ca. 1894-1899. The bisque head is made by Simon & Halbig for Jumeau. The doll is 17.3" (44 cm) tall. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "DEP 7".
Beautiful blue glass eyes with a fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Unfortunately she lost her original eyelashes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Old human hair wig. Pierced ears with earrings.
French wood and composition body in good condition, with some minimal repaint. There is a functioning voice box in her torso.
This beautiful doll wears old clothing, a silk dress, a matching cotton jacket and cotton underwear. A hat decorated with feathers, an antique brooch, old leather shoes.
