An adorable antique bisque head doll made ca. 1891-1895. Her bisque head is by Simon & Halbig, the head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "S&H 1039 10½ DEP". The doll stands ca. 22" (56 cm) tall.
Blue sleep and flirty glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original eyelashes. She has an open mouth with 4 teeth. Pierced ears with earrings. Old human hair wig.
The doll has an interesting wood and composition walking body with straight legs. Her leather shorts are not original. Her body is in good condition with some repaint and some areas of age-related wear. The doll wears clothing made of antique fabrics, a silk and velvet dress, old cotton underclothes, an old silk hat, cotton underclothes. Vintage leather shoes.
