Rare antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1900 by Rempel & Breitung. Her bisque head is by Johann Daniel Kestner. She is ca. 17.3" (44 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "27 RB 1". This beautiful doll has brown glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Old mohair wig. She has a "mole" black dot above her lip which occurred at the time of firing. I think it gives even more charm! Wood and composition flapper body in good condition. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. This cute girl wears antique clothing, a dress decorated with lace, a hat, batiste underclothes and antique leather shoes. An old necklace.
