Antique German marotte bisque head doll made ca. 1892-1895. Doll measures 13" (33 cm) long from the top of her hat to the bottom of handle. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "33 Y".
Blue fixed glass eyes, open mouth with 4 tiny teeth, old blonde mohair wig. The wooden stick handle. Her torso contains a music box is in working condition. When twirled about, the marotte plays a merry tune.
The doll wears original costume in good condition. Her hat and her wig are glued to the head.
