Rare antique German all bisque doll in an original straw box made by Limbach ca. 1890. Character baby mold 8660. The doll stands ca. 9" (23 cm) tall. One-piece bisque head and torso, jointed bisque arms and legs. All-original body parts, no damage or repair, except a small superficial chip at his shoulder. The back of the doll is marked "Germany 8660 / I cloverleaf".
Molded eyes, closed mouth modeled as though open. This cute baby wears an original antique costume, a christening gown, a cotton underclothes. Bare feet. A straw bag in good condtion. The measurements are 11.8" x 9" (30 x 23 cm).
