Rare antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1911 by Kammer & Reinhardt. Mold 117 A. Her bisque head is made by Simon & Halbig. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "K & R Simon & Halbig 117/А 58". This doll stands ca. 22" (56 cm) tall. There are some wig pulls hidden under her wig. The doll has brown glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original eye lid paint. Original eyelashes. Closed mouth. Old, maybe original mohair wig. Wood and composition body in good condition. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. This beautiful doll wears a silk dress decorated with lace, cotton underclothes, an antique lace bonnet, leather boots. An antique metal brooch with an photograph of a girl and a cute small bouquet.
