Antique German bisque head doll made by Kammer & Reinhardt. Her bisque head is by Simon & Halbig. Made ca. 1914-1920. Mold 126, also known as "Mein Lieblingsbaby", this mold was produced from 1914. The doll stands 9.4" (24 cm) tall. His bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. His head is marked "K & R Simon & Halbig 126". There are significant wig pulls hidden under the wig. Glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism. Open mouth with 2 teeth. Original mohair wig. Wood and composition body in good condition. His body has some areas of age-related wear. This cute boy wears old clothing, wool pants, a cotton jacket, cotton underclothes. leather shoes. The doll is accompanied by an old horse on wheels.
