This ca. 13.3" (34 cm) antique German bisque head doll was made by Johann Daniel Kestner ca. 1880-1890. Her bisque head with shoulder plate and lower bisque arms are free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. Her head moves from side to side easily. She has beautiful blue glass sleep eyes, eye mechanism is fully operational, original lid wax. Closed mouth. Original hard plaster pate and an original mohair wig. Her leather body is in good condition according to the doll's age. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. Some old restoration on the right arm. All fingers are present and remain in good condition. The doll wears antique maybe original clothing, a silk costume, a hat, cotton underclothes, cloth shoes.
