This ca. 17" (43 cm) antique German bisque head doll was made by Johann Daniel Kestner ca. 1916. Mold number 260. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "made in Germany JDK 260 39/44". She has beautiful blue glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism, original lid wax. Unfortunately she has lost her original eyelashes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Hard plaster pate, old human hair wig. Original wood and composition body in very good condition, no repair. This cute girl wears antique clothing, a white cotton dress, a crocheted bonnet, old oilcloth shoes.
