Antique German bisque head doll made by Johann Daniel Kestner ca. 1897-1900. The doll stands ca. 13" (33 cm) tall. Mold 152. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "А Made in Germany 5 152". Big blue glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Old mohair wig. Original wood and composition body in very good condition, no repair, with a red-stamped "Germany 0" mark and original finish. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. This adorable girl wears antique clothing, a beautiful cotton dress with lace, cotton underclothes, a vintage straw hat decorated with flowers and old oilcloth shoes.
