Antique German bisque head doll made by Heinrich Handwerck ca. 1900-1905. The doll stands ca. 17" (43 cm) tall. Her only issue is a small chip on the neck. The chip is glued. She is in otherwise wonderful condition with no cracks. The head is marked "79 10 Germany Handwerck". Blue glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Old human hair wig with "made in France" label. The doll has pierced ears with earrings. Wood and composition body in very good condition with stamped "Heinrich Handwerck Germany" mark. The doll wears antique clothing, a batiste dress, a velvet hat, cotton underclothes and leather shoes. (1876)
