Rare antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1890-1892 by Gebruder Kuhnlenz. The head is marked “38-31”. The doll stands 22" (56 cm) tall. Her bisque head with a shoulder plate has a factory defect on the cheek and a hair line on the front side of the shoulder plate. Blue glass fixed, closed mouth, pierced ears with earrings.
She is on a leather body in a condition according to its age. Some restoration. Lower legs are made of fabric. Lower bisque arms. All fingers are present and remain in good condition. Antique human hair wig.
The doll wears antique clothing, a silk dress, a bouquet made of feathers, a silk hat, antique leather boots.
