French antique bisque head doll by Etienne Denamur made ca. 1890-1899 in Paris. The doll stands ca. 14" (36 cm) tall. Bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. She is marked "E 4 D".
Lovely blue fixed glass eyes, painted lower and upper eyelashes, open mouth with teeth. Original French wood and composition 5 piece body in good condition. The doll is dressed as a nun. Her outfit is original.
