Early rare antique English wax doll ca. 1860-1880. This doll is 17.7 inches (45 cm) tall. Her head with shoulder plate, arms and legs are made from hard wax. The wax is in good condition, no defects, cracks, chips or restoration. Beautiful blue glass eyes. Mohair hair is in very good condition. The blonde mohair inserted individually and is still full and long. Very fine facial features. She is on her original cloth stuffed body. The doll wears antique clothing, a cute bonnet, cotton dress decorated with lace, a full set of cotton underclothes, antique leather boots.
