Small French antique bisque head doll made by Jumeau, ca. 1870-1880. The doll stands 11.8" (30 cm) tall. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "Depose Tete Jumeau Bte S.C.D.G. 3". French fixed glass eyes. Closed mouth. Original French cork pate, original human hair wig. Pierced ear with earrings. One earring is missing the cross, see pictures. Early wood and composition body with straight wrists in good condition according to its age. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. There is a blue stamped "Jumeau Paris" mark. This charming doll wears an outfit made from antique fabrics, cotton underclothes, old leather boots.
