Rare antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1909-1913 by Cuno & Otto Dressel. Her bisque head doll is made by Gebruder Heubach. This mold was made for the US market (Hamburger and Co.) Character mold. The doll stands ca. 24.4" (62 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "DEP Dolly Dimple H Germany 12".
Her charming face has dimpled cheeks, dark brown glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Unfortunately she has lost some of her natural eyelashes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Cute ears. Original blonde human hair wig.
Original wood and composition body with a red Dressel stamp on the back in good condition. Her body has some areas of age-related wear.
The doll wears antique clothing, a cotton red polka dot dress, cotton underclothes, antique shoes.
