Antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1900. The doll stands 7.8" (20 cm) tall. His bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. He has a belton type head with one hole. The doll is incised with a number on the back of the head but I cannot make it out. Painted eyes, closed mouth. 5-piece body with jointed arms and legs. Molded shoes. Original mohair wig. The doll wears his original outfit, a uniform with epaulets, which is sewn on. A small saber sword.
