Rare antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1870-1885. She is ca. 9.5" (24 cm) tall. She has belton type head with three holes. The head is marked "2". Her bisque head is made by an unknown maker. The head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. Amazing blue fixed glass eyes. Closed mouth. Original mohair wig. Original unusual 5 piece body. The body is in good condition, with some areas of age-related wear. The doll wears a full knitted outfit consisting of a dress, a hat and matching shoes. Cotton underclothes with a monogram "KW".
