Antique German doll made ca. 1870-1885, probably by Alt, Beck, Gottschalck. The doll stands ca. 16.5" (42 cm) tall. Bisque belton-type head with shoulder plate. Bisque head and bisque shoulder plate are free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration.
Blue fixed glass eyes. Closed mouth. Old human hair wig. The doll has a nice leather body in good condition. The bisque hands and feet are in excellent condition and have no damage.
The doll wears antique clothing, a two piece velvet costume and a matching hat, cotton underclothes, leather shoes.
