An antique German bisque head doll made by Armand Marseille ca. 1894-1898. The doll stands ca. 24.5" (62 cm) tall. The head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "1894 AM10 DEP".
Big fixed glass eyes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. An old mohair wig.
Wood and composition body in good condition with straight wrists. Some repaint in the neck area. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. The doll wears old clothing, a silk dress, cotton underclothes, old oilcloth shoes. A vintage hat.
