Rare antique German bisque head doll made at the end of the 19th century or at the beginning of the 20th century by Cuno & Otto Dressel. The doll stands ca. 20.8" (53 cm) tall. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "Cuno & Otto Dressel Germany".
She has beautiful blue glass sleep and flirty eyes, with fully operational eye mechanism. She has lost some of her natural eyelashes. Open mouth with teeth. Unpierced ears. Old maybe original human hair wig.
Her composition and wood body is in good condition with original body finish. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. The voice box is missing or non functioning.
This lovely doll wears a silk dress made of antique fabrics, an antique bonnet, old cotton underclothes, an old photo brooch with a photograph of a child.
