Antique German Bisque Head Doll made by Schoenau & Hoffmeister ca. 1905. The doll stands ca. 15" (38 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "5800 SPBH 3/0 Germany". The doll has beautiful blue sleep glass eyes with original lid paint, fully operational eye mechanism and painted upper and lower lashes. An open mouth with 4 teeth. A metal spring strung wood and composition body in good condition. The doll is dressed in an antique original nun's costume.
