Antique German bisque head doll made by Kammer & Reinhardt ca 1890-1900. Her bisque head is made by Simon & Halbig. The doll stands ca. 24.8" (63 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "Simon & Halbig K & R Germany 55". Big deep brown glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Unfortunately she has lost her original eyelashes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Antique maybe original human hair wig. Pierced ears with earrings. Wood and composition body in good condition. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. The doll wears an old silk dress, a hat and cotton underclothes. Vontage leather shoes.
