Rare antique German bisque head doll made by Kaemmer & Reinhardt ca 1898-1900. Her bisque head is made by Simon & Halbig. The doll stands ca. 20.4" (52 cm) tall. Very rare version of mold 192 with closed mouth. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "192". The doll has a closed mouth, blue glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Pierced ears with earrings. Original mohair wig with a hardplaster pate glued into it. Wood and composition body in very good condition. This amazing doll has antique clothing, a silk and velvet dress, cotton underclothes, leather shoes, an old brooch.
