Here is a nice antique wooden lap writing desk, made in Europe in the middle of the 19th century. Nice escutcheon on top with "Bertha Groth April 25th 1878" in script on it. The inside of the case is lined with velvet. Box is 13.7" x 9" x 5.1" tall when closed. (35 x 23 x 13 cm). The case is in good condition with normal wear indicative of the age. (775)
