This ca. 19.2" (48 cm) rare antique German bisque head doll was made by Wiesenthal, Schindel & Kallenberg ca. 1895-1900. Her bisque head was made by Simon & Halbig. Her head is free of damage or repair, no cracks or restoration. The head is marked "WSK 3½ Simon & Halbig". Brown glass sleep eyes with natural upper and lower painted lashes, eye mechanism is fully operational, original lid wax. An open mouth with 4 teeth. Beautiful old mohair wig. Pierced ears with earringsThe doll has a wood and composition body, which is in good condition. The body has some minor areas of age-related wear. This cute girl wears antique bride clothing, white cotton top and silk bottom dress, a white cotton underclothes, vintage leather shoes. Antique lace bridal veil decorated with flowers.
