A very rare and interesting item — an antique French wax bust doll in its original box. Early 20th century. The doll measures 28 cm. The head and hands are made of wax and are in very good condition. The head is mounted on a cardboard tube. The doll is dressed entirely in its original antique clothing intended for First Communion. Such dolls were typically made by nuns in Catholic convents as gifts for girls celebrating their First Communion.
