An antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1895-1900. Her bisque head is made by Simon & Halbig. This adorable doll stands 17.3" (44 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked " Germany Heinrich Handwerck Simon & Halbig". Deep brown glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism, original eye lid paint in good condition, open mouth with 4 teeth, pierced ears with earrings. Original mohair wig. Original wood and composition body in good condition, no repair or repaint. The dolls wears an antique maybe original silk dress, the dress is fragile and has some splits and slight tears. Old cotton underclothes, oilcloth shoes, an antique bonnet.
