French antique SFBJ bisque head doll ca. 1910-1912. Mold number 236. The doll stands ca. 15" (38 cm) tall. Bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is incised "SFBJ 236 Paris 6".
Glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism. Unfortunately he has lost his original eyelashes. Open closed mouth with two molded teeth. Old mohair wig.
Original French wood and composition toddler body in good condition according to the doll's age. His body has some areas of age-related wear. The hands have some old paint touch up.
This cute boy wears an old jester outfit, leather shoes. He holds an antique small leather case with two decks of playing cards.
