Rare antique oriental German bique head doll. Her head is made by Simon & Halbig ca. 1893–1898. The doll stands ca. 8.6" (22 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "3/0 Germany 1129 S&H".
Brown fixed glass eyes. Open mouth with teeth. Wood and composition 5 piece body in good condition, with molded feet. Original mohair wig.
The antique doll is dressed in a cotton kimono embroidered with beads, paired with silk harem trousers. The outfit is sewn directly onto the doll’s body. Accompanying the ensemble are two old, large fans.
