This ca. 9" (23 cm) tall antique German bisque head doll was made by Simon & Halbig ca. 1892-1895. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. Her head is marked "1078 Simon & Halbig S&H 1½". She has an open mouth with 4 teeth, beautiful glass sleep eyes with original lid paint and fully operational eye mechanism, an old human hair wig. 5 piece composition body in very good condition. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. Feet with molded shoes. The doll wears clothing made of antique fabrics.
