Antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1890-1900. Her bisque head was made by Simon & Halbig. The doll is 22" (56 cm) tall. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. She is marked "Simon & Halbig Germany 3½". On the forehead the doll is marked with "W", that means that the doll has eyelashes. (German word "Wimpern" stands for eyelashes). The doll has beautiful grey glass eyes with original lid paint and fully operational eye mechanism. She has lost some of her natural eyelashes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Wood and composition body in good condition. Antique mohair wig. She wears old clothing, cotton underwear, green silk dress, silk bonnet and antique oilcloth shoes. (1911)
