French antique bisque head doll made by Rabery & Delphieu ca. 1890-1899. The doll stands 18.8" (48 cm). Her only issue is a factory firing crack on the right side of her head. It must have occurred with the original firing of the head. The head is marked "R 2 D".
French fixed glass eyes. Open mouth with teeth. Pierced earlobes with earrings. Cork pate. Old human hair wig.
French wood and composition body in very good condition. This beautiful doll wears an old silk dress with lace, a silk bonnet with flowers, cotton underclothes, original leather shoes with a Rabery stamp.
