Antique German character bisque head doll made by Konig & Wernicke ca. 1910-1915. The doll stands ca. 21" (54 cm) tall. Her bisque head doll is made by Hertel, Schwab & Co. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "Made in Germany 98/10".
Glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Unfortunately she has lost her original eyelashes. Open mouth with 2 teeth. Antique maybe original mohair wig. Wood and composition toddler body in good condition. Her body has some areas of age-related wear.
This cute doll wears a two piece dress, old cotton underclothes, antique oilcloth shoes. The doll is accompanied by a tiny Schildkrot doll.
