Antique German bisque head doll made by Kammer & Reinhardt ca 1911. Mold 116 A. The doll stands ca. 21.6" (55 cm) tall. The bisque head is made by Simon & Halbig. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. His head is marked "KR Simon Halbig 116A 50". Deep brown glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. An open mouth with two molded teeth and a tongue. Original mohair wig. Some small rub marks on his cheeks. His wood and composition toddler body is in very good condition. His body has some areas of age-related wear. This cute little boy wears antique clothing, a thin cotton shirt, a cotton striped overall, underclothes, antique shoes. The boy has two toys – a horse on wheels and a ball in a ball net.
