This ca. 27.5" (70 cm) tall antique German bisque head doll was made by Kammer & Reinhardt ca. 1916. Her bisque head is by Simon & Halbig. Mold number 117 n. The back of the head is marked "K & R Simon & Halbig 117 n Germany 70". The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. She has an open mouth with 4 teeth, flirty eyes that also sleep with fully operational eye mechanism and painted upper and lower lashes. Her eyes retain full eyelid paint and original eyelashes. An old human hair wig. Original wood and composition body in very good condition, no repair, no restoration. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. Original rubber hands. The doll wears antique clothing: a silk dress, a batiste bonnet with flowers, and old leather shoes.
