This ca. 18" (46 cm) tall antique German bisque head doll was made by Kammer & Reinhardt ca. 1916. Her bisque head is by Simon & Halbig. Mold number 117 n. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "K & R Simon & Halbig 117 n 46". She has an open mouth with 4 teeth, an old maybe original human hair wig. Grey flirty and sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and painted upper and lower lashes. There is also a so called Unart-mechanism, which allows the doll to stay with open eyes in the lying position. Her composition and wood ball-jointed body is in good condition. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. The doll wears antique clothing, a silk dress decorated with lace, cotton underclothes, lace bonnet, leather shoes.
