Antique German bisque head doll made 1918, according to the mark on the rim of the head. Made by Kammer & Reinhardt. The doll stands 20.4" (52 cm) tall. Her bisque head is by Simon & Halbig. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "K&R Simon & Halbig 403 Germany 53". Rare sleep and flirty glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint in good condition. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Wooden and composition body, with no signs of restoration. Old mohair wig. The doll wears antique clothing, old oilcloth shoes.
