A rare antique German doll made by the Kaemmer & Reinhardt factory in the 1910s. The doll’s bisque head was made by the Simon & Halbig factory. The doll measures 53 cm. The bisque head is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. She has blue glass sleep and flirty eyes, with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with four teeth. The doll is wearing earrings. The back of the head is marked “Halbig K & R 402 53.”
Her wood and composition body is in very good condition. She has an antique, possibly original, human hair wig. The clothing is old: cotton undergarments and a silk dress. A hat decorated with flowers. Old oilcloth shoes.
