Antique German bisque head doll made by Kammer & Reinhardt. Her bisque head is by Simon & Halbig. The first Character Doll Model #101 - Marie - was produced starting in 1909. The doll stands 30 cm (11.8 inches) tall. The porcelain head has a fine, hairline crack on the forehead. The head is marked "K & R 101 30". The doll has painted eyes and a closed mouth. Original mohair wig. The original woode and composition body is in very good condition. This charming Marie Doll is from a private collection and wears original clothing and shoes.
