An amazing French bisque head doll made by Jumeau, ca. 1880. The doll stands ca. 21" (54 cm) tall. Bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration.
Brown glass fixed eyes. A closed mouth. Pierced ears with earrings. A cork pate and an old beautiful human hair wig.
Wood and composition body in good condition according to the doll's age with an blue stamp. Her body has some areas of age-related wear.
The doll wears antique clothing, a silk dress and a bonnet, leather shoes, old cotton underclothes. A small beadwork bag and an enamel brooch.
