This ca. 12.5" (32 cm) antique German bisque head doll was made by Johann Daniel Kestner ca. 1926-1928. Mold number 260. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "JDK 260 made in Germany". She has deep brown glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original eye lid paint. An open mouth with 4 teeth. Antique maybe original mohair wig. Original wood and composition flapper body in very good condition, no repair, original body finish. This doll wears old clothing, a pale rose cotton dress with lace, cotton underclothes, an antique laced bonnet, leather shoes.
