Antique German Bisque Head Doll Johann Daniel Kestner 133

This very rare antique German bisque head doll was made ca. 1897-1902 by Johann Daniel Kestner. The doll stands ca. 7" (18 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "133 1 made in Germany".  This cutie has blue glass sleep eyes with fully operational eyes mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 tiny teeth. Original human hair wig. Wooden and composition body with molded shoes, in very good condition, with original body finish. The doll wears an antique Pierrette outfit, a cotton dress, silk underclothes.
