This ca. 23.5" (60 cm) antique German bisque head doll was made by Heinrich Handwerck. ca. 1900. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. She is marked on the back of her head "69 - 12 x Germany Handwerck Halbig". She has brown glass sleep eyes with original lid paint, fully operational eye mechanism, pierced ears, an open mouth with 4 teeth, an old mohair wig. Composition and wood ball-jointed flapper style body in good condition with a red stamped "Heinrich Handwerck Germany" mark. This cute little girl is wearing an old silk dress and bonnet, cotton underwear and leather shoes. (1671)
