Antique German bisque head doll made by Heinrich Handwerck ca. 1900-1905. Mold 119. The doll stands 24.4" (62 cm) tall. The head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "119-12 3/4 Нandwerck Germany 43/4".
Grey glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism, original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Pierced ears with earrings. Old human hair wig. Wood and composition body with "Germany 5" mark in good condition. Some repaint. The doll wears an old checkered dress, cotton underclothes and leather shoes.
