This ca. 27.5" (70 cm) antique German bisque head doll was made by Heinrich Handwerck ca. 1900. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "119-13 Handwerck 5 Germany".
Beautiful glass sleep eyes with upper and lower painted lashes, eye mechanism is fully operational, original lid wax. An open mouth with 4 teeth. Pierced ears with earrings. Old, maybe original human hair wig.
Composition and wood ball-jointed body in very good condition, no repair. Her body has some areas of age-related wear.
This cute doll wears an antique batiste dress with lace, cotton underclothes, old oilcloth shoes, an antique cameo brooch.
