Rare antique German bisque head doll made by Gebruder Heubach ca. 1912-1914. Characteristic mold 5636, the Laughing Heubach character. The doll stands ca. 13" (33 cm) tall. Her pink bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "5636 31/2 Germany 33". Blue glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open/closed mouth with 2 molded teeth. Antique maybe original mohair wig. Wood and composition body in good condition with a red stamped "Made in Germany" mark. Some old repair to one of her feet.This cute doll wears an original antique dress, cotton underclothes, a vintage straw hat and old leather shoes.
