Antique German bisque head doll made by Hertel, Schwab & Co ca. 1912-1915. The doll stands ca. 15.3" (39 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "Made in Germany 136/4". Beautiful glass eyes with fully operational eyes mechanism, original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Original mohair wig. Wood and composition flapper body in good condition. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. An old two-piece silk outfit, cotton underwear, a straw hat. Old oilcloth shoes.
